This Privacy Policy explains how BizNovaHub ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal information when you visit biznovahub.com/ (the "Site"). We aim to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address and message when you contact us, pitch an article, comment or subscribe to updates.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and time spent on the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

  • To reply to your messages and manage contributions and partnerships
  • To measure traffic and understand which content is useful (analytics)

  • To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Legal bases (UK/EU visitors)

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example non-essential cookies and personalised ads), our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site, replying to enquiries), and legal obligation where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time through our cookie banner or browser settings.

4. Cookies and third-party services

We use essential cookies to run the Site and, with your consent where required, analytics and advertising cookies. Third parties we may use include:

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Site, with advertising partners as described above, or when required by law. Under the CCPA, the use of advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising; you can opt out as described in section 8.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK or EU, including in the United States. Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, UK extension, or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep contact emails for up to 24 months, unless an ongoing relationship requires longer. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics provider (no longer than 26 months).

8. Your rights

UK and EU: you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

California and other US states: you can request to know, delete or correct personal information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required.
